Federico Ortiz is an architect from Argentina. He graduated from the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, where he then became part of different research and teaching teams. After his studies, he worked for architectural firms in Argentina and Switzerland. He is a Chevening Scholar currently enrolled in the MA in History and Critical Thinking at the AA. He is curious about the connections between the histories and theories of architecture and the mechanisms of contemporary production. Questioning the figure of the architect and the limits of the discipline are also among his current interests.
